Loud Shirt Day - Friday 19 October 2018

You're invited to get LOUD for children with hearing loss. It couldn’t be simpler to show your support. All you need is a wacky shirt and to get LOUD!

You can host a LOUD Shirt Day at any time and in any way you like.

As a family, at work, with your friends, with a community group or as a school. It’s is a great way to educate your community, to understand hearing issues and to spread the message that children with hearing loss can learn to listen and speak through early intervention.

While we’ll officially celebrate on Friday 19 October 2018, our supporters get LOUD year-round.

The concept of LOUD Shirt Day is simple: Get LOUD for deaf kids.

You can host a LOUD Shirt Day at any time, and in any way you like (as a family, at work, with your friends, with a community group, alongside your sports club, as a school mufti day or at your child’s day care centre).

LOUD Shirt Day is a great way to educate your community, and staff, to understand hearing issues and to spread the message that deaf children can learn to listen and speak through early intervention.

But we need your help.

LOUD Shirt Day is a national community initiative which was developed as a fundraising campaign, so that children affected by hearing loss can live life loudly.

It couldn’t be simpler to show your support. All you need is a wacky shirt (or one of our Supporter Tees) and a commitment to get LOUD!

When she was born she was just perfect, and she still is. In hospital the newborn hearing screening test was done and that came back as inconclusive.
