Helping children to reach their full potential.

Microtia and Atresia Resilience and Self-confidence building group program

Hear and Say’s MARS Group Social Skills Program for children aged eight to 12 years with microtia and atresia, led by our experienced staff, addresses some of the issues that these children often face. It is designed to teach children the skills to build their self-confidence, resilience, peer relationships and independence.

This is undertaken through fun challenge-based activities focusing on communication and problem-solving skills. The children will also learn about how the hearing system works and gain a better understanding of their hearing loss and technology whilst meeting and engaging with others in a similar situation to them.

The online workshop will be run online over two days, with a 90min session each day (total 3 hours).

By the end of the workshops, participants will have a greater knowledge of different facets of social skills including:

  • Communication
  • Confidence
  • Leadership
  • Self-esteem
  • Problem solving
  • Trust
  • Co-operation

Prices are subject to change in accordance to the NDIS price guide and will be applied at time of invoicing.
