Our Christmas Campaigns
This Christmas, Hear and Say is encouraging all our supporters to ‘give the gift of sound’ to deaf children.
There are a number of ways you can get involved.
- Donate to our Christmas Appeal – the story we’re sharing is about Grace, who lives in North Queensland with her mum and dad. Click here to watch a video of Grace and her parents, Dan and Lucy.
- Order our new book ‘Sounds of Hope’, The Hear and Say Story, just in time for Christmas. Written by Madonna King, with a foreword by Wally Lewis, it recounts personal recollections from the last 25 years.
- Buy or sign up to sell our Christmas Bells. We have two new colours this year, and a bell kit to help you raise funds for Hear and Say.
- Sign up to volunteer! We’ll be hosting lots of pop up stalls leading up to Christmas, and also have plenty of opportunities to wrap presents at Brisbane Airport.
Thank you for your support, and Merry Christmas from the whole team at Hear and Say.

Give a gift for life to a hearing impaired child.
“Before all of this, you take hearing for granted and I’d never seen anyone with a cochlear implant.
But you see the difference, the magic, when someone who hasn’t heard before gets given sound.”
