Our dedicated volunteers contribute immeasurable value to the Hear and Say community. Thank you to the many incredible people who donate their time and expertise across our centres.
Volunteering at Hear and Say is a highly rewarding experience – you might watch as a child has their cochlear implants switched on to sound for the first time, or see a regular group social skills program in action where children learn their communication skills and confidence.
From corporate volunteer days to fundraising events and clinical or research roles, we are always grateful for our volunteers who willingly give their time, skills and enthusiasm to help us achieve our mission.
“Lee has built such beautiful rapport with our families and we all value her wisdom and warm nature. She is also tireless in her efforts to recruit others from the community to support Hear and Say, and we are so grateful for Lee’s extraordinary continued dedication to helping families impacted by hearing loss.” – Anna Warby and Jessica Tattam, Darling Downs Listening and Spoken Language Specialists.
Lee has been an invaluable long-term volunteer at the Hear and Say Darling Downs Centre, and is greatly admired for her outstanding can-do attitude and willingness to attend to any task with enthusiasm and a smile.
